The name Minhwa is derived from the folk paintings of Korea—art of the common people. Prevailing motifs such as tigers, dragons and beasts are used in unconventional form to illustrate the common people's freedom of expression and reveal their innermost thoughts and dreams. These characters were used to name and develop artwork for the different soju offerings Minhwa Spirits provides.
